Elizabeth Arleen Paine, loving wife and mother passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 73 in Marysville, California. Beth was born on June 13, 1949, in Auburn, Ca. to Wesley and Elizabeth Anderson. Elizabeth grew up in Auburn with her 3 beloved siblings, her best friend and twin sister Kathleen Rounseville, brother Joe Anderson and sister Lois Anderson, deceased. She graduated from Placer High School in 1967 and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Northwest Nazarene in 1971. In June of 1975, she married her lifelong love Paul M. Paine and had 3 girls Heidi, Holly and Teresa Paine.
Beth was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years. She taught her first class at Foresthill Christian, then Liberty Towers Christian, and finally retired from Robla Elementary. She also taught piano and voice lessons and directed many school musicals along the way.
She loved to share her joy for Jesus with everyone and was a faithful member of her precious church Charity Baptist. Beth never met a stranger and was generous with her smiles. She could find the JOY in any circumstance.
Beth was a devoted wife, amazing mother, patient teacher, generous friend and faithful servant to our Lord. Her biggest gift to her children was teaching them about Jesus, and thus ensuring the chain remains unbroken.
Beth is survived by her husband Paul Paine, daughters Heidi, Holly and Teresa Paine, Sister and Brother- in-law Kathleen & Samuel Rounseville, brother and sister- in- law Joe & Barbara Anderson.
There will be a celebration of life on May 6, at 11AM at Charity Baptist Church 2150 Wescott Rd. Colusa, CA 95932, brunch will be served after service. All are welcome.
