John (Johnny) Ethan Williams, 60, passed away in a tragic accident July 5, 2022. He was born April 19, 1962, in Watervliet, Michigan to John and Laverne Williams.
John was a man who loved God, he found so much joy in giving to others and helping anyone in need. He loved making people laugh and spending time with family and friends. He loved a good home cooked meal shared with those he loved. And he was always the first to make sure everyone stopped to say grace.
For many years he worked with family, his Uncle Sam and nephew Devin climbing and trimming trees. He was well known for being an extremely talented arborist. He was one of the best around! He loved his work!
He is preceded in death by his parents John and LaVerne Williams.
He is survived by his sister Cindy (Kevin) Friel; brother Larry Yerington; wife Regina Hodgkinson; daughter Leanna Williams; stepdaughters Jessica (Justin) Greco, Vanessa (Damion) Davis; stepson Mark (Brittany) Dinges II; grandchildren Destiny Baham, Landon Deuel, Ayden Dinges, Aubree Deuel, Rowan Greco, Abbygail Davis; nieces Heather (Tom) Nation, Tiffany (Rich) Eads, nephews Joseph Friel, Shawn Friel, Devin Yerington; great nieces Aurora Nation, Willow Eads, Aria Yerington; great nephews Matthew Friel, Jedrek Eads, Taveon Nation, Devin Yerington as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
