Gregory Logan Zwald

12/22/1985 - 10/23/2021

Gregory Logan Zwald was granted his angel wings on Oct. 23, 2021. His final days were spent surrounded by the family and friends that he had touched in his short, yet very memorable life.

Greg was born to parents Andy and Cynthia Zwald, on Dec. 22, 1985, in Chico, California. Greg graduated from Chico High School, and received a B.S. in Agricultural Business from California Statue University, Chico.

Greg had many endeavors within his life. He was a member of the Order of the Eagle of the Boy Scouts of America, and had been a member of Troop 31. He spent many years of his childhood in the wilderness and continued this love throughout his life. Greg worked as a snowboard/ski instructor at Mt. Shasta and moved on to agriculture by working on his family ranch and then managing water in the Colusa County rice fields.

As he navigated through college, he made many friends who soon became family. Greg was a man who was always there for someone, regardless of the time in which they last spoke. It was one of his many qualities, not to surpass his ability to carry on a conversation.

He married his college sweetheart, Shannon, in 2014. They spent the following years building a beautiful life together with the addition of two beautiful children. Anyone who met Greg would instantly see how much he adored his wife and how devoted he was to his kids. Greg never stopped planning the adventures they could all have together.

In addition to his wife Shannon, daughter Reagan and son Hudson, Greg is survived by his father and mother, Andy and Cynthia Zwald, as well as his sister Stacey and Benjy Costello, his brothers Sam Zwald and Todd and Carlena Zwald, many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and his furever companion Clyde.

A special thank you to the staff at Enloe Hospital for their loving care and support during his final days.
