Bruce D. Dennis, 63, went home to be with Our Lord on Thursday, October 7, 2021.
He was born in Yuba City on November 25, 1957, to Wilburn and Linnie Dennis. He was raised in College City/Arbuckle. He later moved to Grimes to raise his family. He was a Rice Farmer Foreman and Mechanic. He was a strong Christian at heart and loved the Lord. You could always lean on his shoulder for comfort and positive advice. He enjoyed life and loved his family. He was an amazing, fun loving man who will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Michelle Dennis. Three children, daughter Danielle Mason married to Scott Mason, son Dustin Dennis, and daughter Stephanie Dennis significant other Jacob Gwerder. Three grandchildren, Carter, Maci, and Kobe, whom he loved deeply. As well as his sisters Annie English, Frances Dennis significant other Dennis Correa, and Dodie Dowden. Also his brother in law Don Rutledge as well as many friends and family members he left behind.
He was welcomed home by his parents, his sister Clara Rutledge, nephews Timmy and Donnie Rutledge and brother in law’s Rance English and Rick Dowden.
He was well known for his honesty, blunt personality, crazy and wild adventures, being able to fix anything, and raising an amazing family.
The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11 AM, at the Grimes Community Church. Followed by a Celebration of Life.
