Janet (Jan) Marie Olson Bradford •7/8/1934 – 3/3/2024

Janet (Jan) Bradford passed peacefully on March 3rd with her family by her side, she was 89 years young. Janet leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and will be cherished forever.
Jan was born and raised in Edmunds, Washington and was the oldest of her three sisters, including twins. She remained close to many of her classmates and tried to visit her home state often to see her friends and sisters.
In her younger years, Jan enjoyed the thrill of skiing and sailing as well as the challenge of golf. She was a lover of watching sports and followed the Sacramento Kings, San Francisco 49ers and Giants even if it was a rerun. Jan was also an avid music fan and she loved to dance. You would see her either tapping her toe to a tune or moving to the rhythm. Jan also spent many years playing bridge with her local bridge group creating cherished memories and long-lasting friendships. Jan had a great sense of humor and brought joy to those who knew her. She was very involved in local groups such as the Arbuckle Revitalization Committee and the annual car show. She also enjoyed hot rod runs and showing their cars with her husband Pete. She was a strong independent woman who not only raised four children, but she kept the farm office running smoothly with her skills in office management
and bookkeeping.
Jan is survived by her husband of 66 years, Peter, her children, Rod, Lori (Mickey Friend), Craig Bradford, and Robin Gravlin (David Gravlin). Janet is also survived by her grandchildren, Teryn Bradford, Allen Bradford, Stephanie Reusser, and Cooper Gravlin, Colby Gravlin and Cayden Gravlin, great granddaughters Claira Reynolds and Audrey Reynolds and Auzora Bolanos. Janet is also survived by her sisters, Marjorie Larison and Norma Keil and numerous nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Olson and Hazel Kreick, and her sister, Carol Unick.
Her family would like to thank the medical team at Sutter Roseville Hospital as well as the unwavering love that Maria Romo gave to her in her final years. You are an angel.
