Audie Marie Phillips, 86, passed away on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. She was born Aug. 18, 1936, in Poteau, Okla., to John Baylis Smedley and Delia Elsie Smedle.
Audie married Freddie “Fred” L. Phillips, Sr., on Nov. 3, 1951, in Little Rock, Ark., and has lived in Colusa County for 71 years.
She is survived by her children, Pamela J. Rubio, of Woodland, Calif., David E. Phillips, of Grimes, Calif., and Karen E. Kumar.
She is also survived by her son-in-law Richard M. Rubio, of Winters, Calif., and grandchildren Mark A. Rubio (Alexa), of Woodland, Calif., Todd D. Felder (Mary), of Peoria, Ariz,, Brandy M. Wingard (Kevin), of Eagle, Idaho, and Christee L. Rubio (Danny Barbosa) of Woodland, Calif.; great- grandchildren, Zachary Seelye, of Kuna, Idaho, Hayle Rubio, of Winters, Calif., Grace Wingard and Kylie Wingard, of Eagle, Idaho, Scarlett Rubio, of Woodland, Calif., Carmen Jimenez and Caleea Jimenez, of Woodland, Calif., and Harper Reep and Simon Reep, of Seattle, Wash., Evan and Braylen Barbosa, of Winters, Calif., Trinity Jimenez, of Sacramento, Calif., Nick King, of Meridan, Calif., Brittany King, of Yuba City, Calif. and Hanna Schneider, of Phoenix, Ariz.
She is predeceased by her husband Freddie “Fred” L. Phillips, Sr., son Freddie L. Phillips, Jr., and daughter Paula K. Long.
Graveside services were held at 10 AM on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, in College City, Calif. at the cemetery.■
