Two varsity girls cracked the top 10 when Colusa’s Elle Faris (27:55) came in sixth, followed by Pierce’s Diana Huerta (28:04) in seventh.

For the second week in a row, Maxwell’s Walter Avery (13:09) claimed the top spot in the JV boy’s two-mile race, while Colusa’s William England (15:36) took fifth, just a second ahead of the Panthers’ Massey Baker (15:37), who was sixth.

Rounding out the day, Pierce’s Isabel Alvarado (18:14) made it two straight with a win in the JV girls’ division, where teammate Karina Grajeda (21:29) was third.
