RedHawks’ Benji Granados (22:12) and Jared Sager (22:48) rounded out the top 10 in ninth and tenth place, respectively.

Among the varsity girls, Colusa’s Elle Faris (27:32) was the top placer taking sixth, the Bears’ Diana Huerta (27:56) was eighth, and Colusa’s Lissandra Fuerte (28:55) was tenth.

Running in the JV boys’ 2.2 mile event, Maxwell freshman Walter Avery served notice that he is a force to be reckoned with, finishing the course in a time of 14:46, while the RedHawks’ Jesse Medina (15:23) claimed second place.

Pierce’s Isabel Alvarado (21:47) won the JV girls’ race, teammate Karina Grajeda (22:34) was fourth, while Colusa’s Monserrat Orozco (25:39) was fifth.
