Dear Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone that voted in the Aug. 29 election for the District 2 Landowner seat on the Colusa Basin Drainage District (CBDD) Board, and especially those that voted for me. Your support and faith in my abilities is greatly appreciated, and because of your votes, I will remain on the CBDD Board for another four years.
I’m excited to embark on another term, especially at a time when the District is entering a new era, with new management and resources. My focus, as I work with the other eight members of the Board, will remain on building partnerships and implementing multi-benefit projects, while serving our constituents and honoring the District’s founding principles.
