Saturday, Sept. 9

Cub Scout FunDrive – Clean up your closest and bag up your clothes for the Colusa Cub Scout Pack 5 FunDrive. Gently used and clean clothing, household textiles, and small household goods will be accepted. Donations will help send the Scouts to camp. The drop off will be from 8-11 am at the Scout Cabin, 901 Parkhill St., Colusa. Please use bags for clothes and textiles (bedding, towels, linens) and tightly packed boxes for small household goods (toys, games, knick-knacks, dishes, pots, pans, etc.). FunDrive is an ecofriendly fundraiser for nonprofit organizations.

Saturday, Sept. 16

Guerra de Tacos – The public is invited to come out and support the Williams Recreation Department’s Guerra de Tacos (Taco War) on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 1-4 pm in Venice Park (behind the Sacramento Valley Museum). Tacos entered for judging will be available to the community
for $2.

Wednesday, Sept. 20

Make Parenting a Pleasure – A program that promotes family resiliency by bringing parents together to learn, share, and develop a support network will be held 9-11 am on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the Williams Family Action Center, 499 Marguerite St., hosted by First 5 Colusa County.

Friday, Sept. 22

Bumps & Beyond Coffee Talks – A parent support group for new and expectant parents will be held from 10:30-11:30 am on Friday, Sept. 22, at the Williams Family Action Center, 499 Marguerite St., hosted by First 5 Colusa County.
