County to distribute COVID-19 self-test kits via drive-thru Friday

The Colusa County Department of Public Health will distribute at-home self-test COVID-19 (Coronavirus) kits to Colusa County residents using a drive-thru distribution held 9 AM to Noon on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at the Colusa County Public Health, 251 E. Webster St. in Colusa. Distribution time may vary depending on supply. 

The kits are distributed at no cost, and limited to one per each present adult. 

The county said in a press release that the COVID-19 test kits are part of an initial allocation of 280 kits received from the California Department of Public Health. 

“We anticipate additional kits to arrive in the near future,” officials said. 

County schools also received an allocation and are distributing COVID-19 test kits to student families.
