Williams 3 – Durham 0 (2/8)
Williams 3 – Maxwell 1 (2/9)

The Yellowjackets outscored their opponents 12-1 in three home games last week, and now ride a three-game win streak into the postseason.

Two days later, the ‘Jackets blanked visiting Durham as well, behind a brace from Lemus and another score by Kaled Rosales.

Jair Rvera, Jesse Velazquez, and Marco Castillo combined to keep a clean sheet in goal.
In the final Mid-Valley League game, Maxwell once again made it tough on Williams, but a second half insurance goal by Lemus dashed the Panthers’ hope of knocking the ‘Jackets out of first place.

Chapa and Axel Velazquez also found the back of the net, while Leo Hernandez assisted on two of the goals and Luis Jimenez helped out on another.

Rivera made eight saves, despite yielding a breakaway goal to the Panthers’ Berto Lara.
