Life is good…pray through it.

My folks were prayer warriors. I grew up believing that no prayers are wasted. It’s ok to pray about the little things as well as the big ones.

I’ve had a stressful time this week. It stemmed from a malfunction of a computer program.

It went on for a few days, but I kept praying for guidance. Finally, guidance came and solved the issue. This problem would have lost several years of my work.

I’m thankful that God pays attention when we talk to Him. Nothing is too small or too big to take to Him.

Stress and blessings, we’re equally mixed this week.

I had a road construction zone barrel blow into the side of my Camry. It caused more than $3,000 in damage. Good insurance is a blessing. No injury is one as well.

For Father’s Day, Tom and I took a picnic lunch to the park in Lemmon, SD. Then we visited the Petrified Wood Park and museum. It’s a very interesting place. There are numerous petrified wood structures in the park and the museum is full of history.

Museum volunteer Joyce shared information about the area and made us feel welcome.
That is the bonus when visiting North and South Dakota sites. You always feel welcomed. Even Rocky dog was welcome.

Today, we’re attending the annual ecumenical service at the Amphitheater in Medora. It is always a beautiful service in a beautiful place.

Although our recent rains are a blessing to the earth, it is also a not so welcome event at our house.

Work to repair some basement flooding began last week. The day after the giant hole was dug in our yard, it started to rain.

Now I’m considering opening a spa mud bath in our yard.

Like everything else, this too shall pass. It will dry out, and the job will be finished.

Life is good today.■
