NOTICE OF ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Municipal Election will be held in the City of Colusa on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, for the following officers:
Council Member Full term 4 years
Council Member Full term 4 years
The polls will be open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
The nomination period for these offices begins on July 18, 2022 and closes on August 12, 2022 at 5:00 pm. During this period, individuals may take out, circulate, and file nomination papers.
If the incumbent does not file nomination papers by 5:00 pm on August 12, 2022, the filing period will be extended until August 17, 2022 for any eligible person, other than the incumbent.
Citizens interested in taking out nomination papers may do by contacting the City Clerk at (530) 458-4740, ext. 111 or cityclerk@cityofcolusa.com to schedule an appointment.
City Hall is located at 425 Webster Street, Colusa
City Hall is open Monday – Thursday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Candidates must be 18 years of age, a citizen of the United States, and a registered voter residing within the City limits at the time the Nomination Paper is issued.
