COLUSA COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION
PUBLIC NOTICE

The Colusa County Board of Education will appoint a member to fill the vacancy on the Board.  The vacancy exists because of the resignation of Jason McMullan, Trustee Area 3, effective December 14, 2021.  Trustee Area 3 represents the following voting precincts:  Part of Arbuckle B Precinct, part of the Cortina Precinct, Geneva Precinct, and part of Williams Precinct.

The Board has adopted procedures for this appointment, including eligibility guidelines, an application and an interview with the Board.  The Board will review all applications, set up interviews and make a decision before the Board Meeting on January 12, 2022.  The successful applicant will be seated at the Board Meeting on January 12, 2022.

Anyone wishing to apply for Trustee, Area No. 3, should call the Colusa County Office of Education, (530)458-0350, to receive information about the responsibilities of the position and the application information.  The deadline to submit an application is January 10, 2022.
