Pursuant to Government Code Section 54970-54974 the Board of Supervisors hereby announces that the following appointed positions on various committees, commissions, boards, or districts will expire within the calendar year 2022.

VACANCIES
AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT HEARING BOARD: Member of the public but preference shall be given to a person admitted to the practice of law in this state or from the medical profession whose specialized skills, training or interests are in the fields of environmental medicine, community medicine, or occupation toxicology medicine. (3 year term)

COLUSA COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH BOARD: One half of the members shall be either consumers receiving services or have received mental health services or be a family member of a consumer. (3 year term)

COLUSA COUNTY GROUNDWATER COMMISSION: Must be a resident of the County and represent a Supervisorial District as an agricultural ground water (or surface water) user within that district. Must have knowledge of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). Must be able to regularly attend meetings and willing and capable to serve as a liaison to other groundwater users and share information. (4 year term)

CYPRESS HILL CEMETERY DISTRICT: Must be an elector residing within the District. (4 year term)

FIRST 5 – CHILDREN AND FAMILIES: Must be a representative of local child care resource or referral agency, a local child care coordination group, a local organization for prevention or early intervention for families at risk, or a representative of community-based organizations that have the goal of promoting nurturing and early childhood development. (3 year term)

FISH AND GAME COMMISSION: Appointees must be a Colusa County resident and shall represent a Supervisorial District. Must possess a valid California Hunting or Fishing License from the previous two (2) years and current year. Must have established interest in Fish and Game Propagation and Harvesting. (4 year term)

INDEPENDENT SOLID WASTE HEARING PANEL: Members shall be selected for their legal, administrative, or technical abilities in areas relating to solid waste management. Must be a technical expert with knowledge of solid waste management methods and technology or a representative of the public at large. (4 year term)

IN HOME SUPPORTIVE SERVICES ADVISORY COMMITTEE: Not more than 11, no fewer than 50% of whom shall be individuals who are current or past users of personal assistance services paid for through public or private funds, or recipients of service under W & I Code section 12300 et seq. Committee established by Ordinance 652. (2 year term)

LOCAL CHILD CARE PLANNING COUNCIL – Council positions represent the following categories – Child Care Services Consumer, Child Care Provider or a person who represents an agency or business that provides private funding for child care services, or who advocates for child care services through participation in civic or community-based organizations but is not a child care provider or CDE funded agency representative. Must be a Colusa County resident or be employed in Colusa County. (3 Year Term)
