CITY OF WILLIAMS PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Williams will hold a public hearing on June 27, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chamber of City Hall, 810 ā€œEā€ Street, Williams. In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, please notify City Hall 72 hours prior to the meeting to arrange for special needs ā€“ (530) 473-5389.
All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting and present written and / or oral comments on the matter being considered or may also submit an e-mail to kramsaur@cityofwilliams.org prior to the meeting. If you challenge these matters in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing(s) described in this notice, or in written correspondence submitted to the Planning & Zoning Department at, or prior to, the public hearing at P.O. Box 310, Williams, CA 95987.
Tentative Map TM 2022-02 of Frank and Vada Ruggieri, and Garnett Vann for subdivision of approximately 19 acres into 12 lots ranging in size from 0.9 acres up to 3.11 acres for future commercial development. The project is located on vacant land east of Interstate 5, west of the Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District Canal and north of E Street (APNs 005-270-026 and 005-440-028) in the City of Williams, CA.
The City has prepared an Initial Study and determined that a Mitigated Negative Declaration should be prepared for this project in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act. This tentative determination is based on an environmental study that assesses the projectā€™s potential environmental impacts. This study includes a complete description and illustrations of the project which is available for review at:

Final environmental determination on the project will be made by the final acting body, which in this case is the Planning Commission, unless otherwise appealed to the City Council.
