NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Colusa County Board of Supervisors will conduct a Public Hearing on March 2, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers located at 546 Jay Street, Suite 108, Colusa, CA, to consider the following:
An ordinance amending the provisions of Section 11-8 of Chapter 11 of the Colusa County Code to require an Industrial Hemp processing license, to eliminate one of the $2,500 required processing deposits and to allow all of County staffs costs to be recovered by the single $2,500 deposit, to add a compliance provision to restrict the issuance of an Industrial Hemp license for willful non-compliance, and to allow cultivation in the Upland Conservation (U-C) zoning district.
The Board of Supervisors will consider exemptions from CEQA pursuant to Title 14, Article 5 of the California Code of Regulations Section 15060(c)(2) because this project will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment, and Section 15061(b)(3) because there is no possibility that the project may have a significant effect on the environment.
