Karen Wylie (Bowen) peacefully ended her battle with cancer on June 15th.
She is remembered by her family and friends for her courage, grace and love. Her heart shined bright through her glittering green eyes. After 38 years of owning her SAS shoe store, she chose to sell the business and spend more time with family and friends.
We are also grateful for all of the times she brought joy into our lives.
Karen is survived by her mother Joyce Fulcher, husband Gordon Wylie, daughter Jenni Hoffman, grandsons Logan Chapman and Alaric Hoffman, second daughter Christine Wylie Lewis (Kevin), sister Kay Hirschfield (Robert), Brothers Kevin Fulcher (Liz), Keith Fulcher (Angie) and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.
Our family would like to thank everyone who helped us on this journey. Karen heard all of your prayers and appreciated her wonderful care team.
A private family service will be held. And lieu flowers, Karen’s family suggests donating to the California Rice Research Trust, PO Box 306, Biggs, CA, 95917.
