Back at it in Durham the following night, Maxwell dropped its first set in four matches, but ultimately prevailed 25-22, 13-25, 25-21, 25-16 although no statistics were available.
To round out last week, Maxwell returned home to dispatch Esparto 25-6, 25-3, 25-10 however statistics were not provided.
Preseason play concluded this week for the Panthers (15-1) when they hosted Williams on Tuesday before hitting the road to square off against Paradise Adventist Academy the following evening.
