Rain or the lack of it is on our minds these days. As much as weve enjoyed our beautiful weather lately, we know to survive we need precious rains.
All creatures, big and small, need water. Pray for rain.
I see we had a bit last night, but well need a lot more.
Its been a busy week for me. Im grateful for it though. The past year of isolation about did me in.
I had my yearly physical this week as well. Like so many others, I suspect part of this year’s questions for me were about coping and depression. Honestly, Ive always been prone to a little depression or anxiety. Im also prone to be a fighter, so Ive usually been able to hold it back.
I know there are others out there who arent as lucky. Depression or anxiety are terrible things. They dont show outward physical wounds, but the hurt is deep.
Im praying for everyone that struggled this past year and who continues to struggle. There is help out there if you need it. It is nothing to be ashamed of, and asking for help is your first best step.
So my phone is on its last leg. It doesnt hold a charge and it has the ever-present Ëœdo-ink going on every few seconds. Unfortunately, the phone isnt in stock so Im waiting a week to get one. It seems a lot of things at a lot of stores these days are on backorder. Believe it or not, Ive been waiting two months for an order for seasoned sea salt to arrive!
But, like most of us, Im connected to my phone and I need a new one. Do I?
The blessing for the week was getting to watch the grandkids play sports. Lea plays volleyball and Kohen plays basketball. Although it made for a few trips out of town, it was well worth it. I love seeing the kids get out there and try.
Life is good today.
