Jesse Edward Troughton, 64, passed away on September 6, 2026, in San Pablo, California. Jesse was a longtime Maxwell resident and business owner.
Born on May 8, 1962, in Redding, California. Jesse was the son of Edward and Anita Troughton, who preceded him in death.
Jesse loved his entire family and is survived by his children, Josh Adams, Jennifer Rodgers, Jestin Summers, Sarah Ray (Juan Ruy), Tina Dry (Rick Dry), and Rick Endicott (Vera); his sisters, Madelene Nooe and Sherry Allison; his former wife, Kimberly Troughton; 15 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. He also leaves behind his dogs, Gator and Max.
Jesse built a life grounded in hard work, honesty, and practical skill. Working as a highly skilled auto and heavy equipment mechanic for more than 40 years, applying his knowledge and dedication throughout a long career in the trade.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the the Maxwell Legion Hall at 250 Oak St, Maxwell, CA.on September 21st at 11:00am for a time of remembrance and reflection in honor of Jesse Troughton. Refreshments and some of Jesse’s favorite foods will be served as we come together to remember and celebrate his life.
A Graveside Service will be held on September 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Maxwell Cemetery 5329 Maxwell-Sites Road, Maxwell, CA 95955
