We are profoundly saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Fanny Reynoso. She entered into eternal rest on September 5, 2026, at home in Colusa, California, after a long illness.
Fanny was born on July 2, 1940, in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. It was there she married her husband, Richard, on January 14, 1964.
Fanny was a fiercely dedicated and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an exceptional cook and everything she prepared was made with love. Fanny spent her free time enjoying the casino and talking with friends and family. She never ran out of things to discuss!
Fanny was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Richard (1936-2022).
She is survived by her three children who absolutely adored their mother: Irma (Chris), Richard Jr., and Fanny, grandchildren Krystal, Hayden, Lilli, and Ivy, great grandchildren Brett, Harlyn, Marilyn, Gwyndilyn, and Waylon, and the family dog, Polly.
Fanny was a long-time, faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Colusa. Services will be Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the church located at 345 Oak Street.
Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception will be held at St Bernadette’s Hall (745 Ware Avenue).
