Darlene Cleone Warner, aged 87, passed away on July 7, 2026, in Yuba City, California.
Born on August 18, 1938, Darlene was known for her love of family, strong work ethic, and active, independent spirit.
Darlene graduated from Tierra Buena Elementary School in 1951, Yuba City High School in 1955, and later earned her CNA license from Yuba College. She dedicated many years to serving her community through her work at Pacific Bell Telephone Company, Andy’s Heating and Air Conditioning, and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic
School and Parish in Colusa, CA.
A devout Catholic, Darlene was a past parishioner at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marysville, and more
recently at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Colusa. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, as evidenced by her active participation in the Catholic Ladies Relief Society.
Darlene’s hobbies included sewing and visiting Disneyland with her family, showcasing her zest for life and love of spending quality time with her loved ones. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and dedication that touched many hearts within her community.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Anderson (Aaron) of Meridian; grandchildren, David Landis Jr., Donald Warner III, Rachel Davis, Corey Warner, Peter Warner Jr., Derek Landis, Casey Warner, Laura Anderson, and Anthony Anderson; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Warner Sr., daughter Barbara Landis, and sons Peter Warner Sr. and Donald Warner Jr.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM, preceded by a Rosary at
9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Colusa, CA. Burial will follow on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Sutter Cemetery in Sutter, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests charitable donations be made to the Catholic Ladies Relief Society of Our
Lady of Lourdes Church in Colusa, CA, or EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network). Darlene’s commitment
to her faith and community will be deeply missed and forever remembered
