Free swim
As an advocate for all children, as evidenced with my position at Birchfield Primary School. I find it necessary to address the opportunity for some children to swim at our local public pool, while many others can not due to their families’ financial circumstances.
The current policy depends on local business sponsorships. My purpose for addressing this issue is to maybe persuade a couple businesses to step up to the plate and ensure that more deserving children are afforded the opportunity to splash and play with their classmates on a free swim day.
