Colusa County Public Health will offer free flu vaccinations at a series of walk-in clinics throughout the county in October.
Flu shots will be available at no cost to people age 12 and older. Children younger than 18 must have a parent or legal guardian with them. No appointments are required.
The first clinic will take place Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Stonyford Community Center, 239 Market St.
Additional clinics are scheduled for Oct. 5 from 2:45 to 4 p.m. at Princeton High School, 473 State St.; Oct. 6 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Maxwell Library, 34 Oak St.; Oct. 7 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Williams Library, 901 E St.; Oct. 8 from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at Grimes Library, 240 Main St.; and Oct. 9 from noon to 4 p.m. at Lavanche Hursh Park, 308 Fifth St., Arbuckle.
The final clinic will take place Oct. 21 from noon to 4 p.m. at Veterans Hall, 108 E. Main St., Colusa.
Public Health asks people who do not feel well to stay home. Those receiving a vaccination should wear clothing that allows easy access to the upper arm.
