Friday, Oct. 09

Redhawk Golf Tournament, Registration begins at 9 a.m., with a 10 a.m. shotgun start at Colusa Golf & Country Club. The Redhawk Athletic Foundation’s annual tournament supports athletes at Egling Middle School and Colusa High School. The scramble includes 18 holes with cart, lunch, beverages, player gifts, awards, games and raffles. Four-person teams are $500 and hole sponsorships are $100. Senior Spread, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the second and fourth Friday’s of each month at Trinity Friendship Hall, 511 Oak St., Colusa. A gathering for senior citizens, with lunch served at noon. Cost is $5, or $3 if you bring a dish to share.

Free Flu Vaccination Clinic – Noon to 4 p.m. at LaVanche Hursh Park, 308 Fifth St., Arbuckle. Colusa County Public Health will offer free walk-in flu vaccinations for people ages 12 and older. Children younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Saturday, Oct. 10

3F Century Ride, Colusa. The Colusa Lions Club will present the 17th annual Flat, Fast, Fun bicycle ride through Colusa and Sutter counties. Riders may choose a 100-mile century, 100K metric century or 37-mile family ride. The event is open to riders of all experience levels. For registration and information, visit http://3fcentury.com.

Colusa Golf & Country Club 70th Anniversary, Gates open at 4:30 p.m. at Colusa Golf & Country Club. The club will celebrate its 70th anniversary with live music by Nothing Personal beginning at 6:30 p.m., two food trucks, a bounce house and children’s activities. Friends of the Colusa County Library meets monthly on the second Monday at noon in the Morse Conference Room at the Colusa Library, 738 Market St., Colusa.

Stagehands meet monthly on the second Monday of each month at 5:15 p.m. in the Stagehands Theater at the Colusa County Fairgrounds.

Colusa County Deputy Sheriff’s Association Golf Tournament, Check-in at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. tee time at Arbuckle Golf Course. The tournament will include lunch at the turn, a catered dinner following golf, raffle, hole games and a ball drop. Registration is $500 per four-player team. Saturday, Oct. 17

Live Lit: Celebrating the Literary Arts in Colusa County, 4 to 6 p.m. at Salmon Bend Art Studios, 3606 Brown Road, Colusa. Hosted by the Colusa County Arts Council, the event will feature local writers sharing short readings of poetry, stories, nonfiction and other spoken works. The event is being held in conjunction with the gallery’s Harvest Show. Light refreshments will be provided.

WCCA Wine and Beer Tasting, Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the Sacramento Valley Museum, 1491 E St., Williams. The Williams Community Center Association event will feature wine and beer tasting, a light meal and entertainment by the Kelly Twins Dueling Pianos beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and are available at the Williams Fire Department office or by calling 530-870-2711.
