Bake Sale
Colusa Assembly of God will host a bake sale on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sav Mor, 1017 Bridge Street, Colusa. All proceeds will go towards their Youth Convention.
Harvest Dinner
Princeton Ag Boosters will be hosting their Harvest Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Princeton Portuguese Hall. No-host bar begins at 5:30 p.m. with a New York strip dinner following at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $65 per person. Contact Debbie Wills at (530) 514-8777 for tickets.

Ruck for Vets
The Garage Fitness & Nutrition will host its first Ruck For Vets, a ruck walk to honor Veterans, on Saturday, Nov. 8. The walk will consist of 22 miles, each mile representing the 22 estimated Veterans who commit suicide every day. Each participant will carry a weighted vest or backpack to symbolize the packs the military carry-on missions. Women will be required to carry 10lb packs and men will be required to carry 20lb packs. There will be mile markers, water/restroom stations, and a pick-up truck for those in need. Entry fee is $35. All proceeds will go to the Colusa County VFW Hall. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at Veterans Park, 10th and Jay Street, Colusa.
Wine and Beer Tasting
The Sacramento Valley Museum and the Williams Community Center Association are teaming up to bring another Wine and Beer Tasting event on Nov. 8 at the Sacramento Valley Museum, 1491 E Street, Williams. Entertainment is sponsored by Alpha Omega Power and will be provided by the Kelly Twins Dueling Pianos. Doors open at 5 p.m. to enjoy wine and beer tasting, a light meal and entertainment begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and are available at the Williams Fire Department or contact (530) 393-6117.
Make It & Take It Craft Expo
The annual Make It & Take It Expo will be held in Festival Hall at the Colusa County Fairgrounds. This event is a fun filled day of craft making and there will be craft projects for all ages. Projects are provided at cost and are $.50 to $10. This event is open to the public and it is sponsored by the Colusa County 4-H Council and Leaders. O.L.L Pheasant Festival
Our Lady of Lourdes will host their annual Pheasant Festival and Silent Auction on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Bernadette’s Hall, 745 Ware Avenue, Colusa. Meal tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children 10 years or under. There will be a silent auction, live auction, kid zone, no-host bar and country store! Donations welcome. Dinner menu includes tri-tip, mashed potatoes, salad, green beans, bread, dessert and coffee. Tickets are available at Our Lady of Lourdes Church or contact (530) 458-4170.

Colusa County Dems
Join in with other Democrats to discuss the current issues and happenings within the local Democratic Party activities. The meeting will be held on Monday, Nov. 10, 6:30-7:30 pm at 1640 Clay Street, Colusa.
Tuesday, Nov. 11
Veterans Day Ceremony
The Colusa County Veterans Association, in partnership with VFW Post 2441 and American Legion Post 218, will host the annual veterans Day Ceremony at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Colusa Veterans Park. The program will feature a guest speaker and the reading of every name engraved on the ten tribute walls. Veterans and community members are encouraged to attend to honor those who have served.
Veterans Day Gold Tournament Fundraiser
The Colusa County Veterans Association will hold its annual Veterans Day Golf Tournament fundraiser on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Colusa Golf and Country Club. Check-in begins at 10 a.m. with a shotgun starts at 11 a.m. Teams are encouraged to pre-register, and hole sponsorships are available. Caregivers Support Group Meeting
The Caregivers Support Group for those caring for individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer/Parkinson’s Disease will meet from 10 am to 11:30 am on the Second Wednesday of every month at the First Presbyterian Church, 326 Jay St., Colusa. The meetings are confidential and are open to all who are interested.
Colusa VFW Monthly Meeting
The Colusa VFW Post #2441 meets the second Wednesday of each month. Dinner is served at 6 p.m., and a business meeting is held at 7 p.m. New members are welcome to join, just inquire or send an email to ColusaVFW@gmail.com. For hall rental please call 530-405-6322. Colusa VFW Post #2441 is a non-profit veterans organization serving the veterans and citizens of Colusa County.

Senior (Citizen) Spread
Trinity United Methodist Church of Colusa will host a senior citizen lunch program on the second and fourth Friday of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Friendship Hall, 511 Oak Street, Colusa. Lunch will be served at noon, and the cost is $5 a person or $3 a person if one provides a side dish. The main dish will be provided, but attendees may provide side dishes and desserts.
