Senior (Citizen) Spread
Trinity United Methodist Church of Colusa will host a senior citizen lunch program on Sept. 26, the second and fourth Friday of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Friendship Hall, 511 Oak Street, Colusa. Lunch will be served at noon, and the cost is $5 a person or $3 a person if one provides a side dish. The main dish will be provided, but attendees may provide side dishes and desserts. WCCA FreeCycle
The Williams Community Center Association, located at 860 C Street in Williams, will host a FreeCycle event on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Community members are invited to bring unwanted items and take-home new finds, completely free of charge. To reserve a table, contact Toni at (707) 235-5108. Participants are not required to stay during the event but must return by noon to collect any items remaining on their table.
WCCA Bingo Bash
The Williams Community Center Association, located at 860 C Street in Williams, will host a Bingo Bash on Saturday, Sept. 27. Doors open at 4 p.m. with games beginning at 5 p.m. Snacks will be available for purchase.
Colusa Community Yard Sale
The entire town of Colusa is hosting a community-wide yard sale on Saturday, Sept. 27, 8 am to 3pm. Colusa residents can simply set up their yard sale at home on this date. With the entire town involved and shoppers coming from all over, this will be a high-traffic event you won’t want to miss!
Stonyford Bring in the Harvest Festival
Stonyford Museum hosts the Bring in the Harvest Fundraiser Dinner on Sept. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. Barrel chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy plus sides and dessert! Pumpkin Plunge
The Colusa Recreation’s 4th annual Pumpkin Plunge is back on Sept. 28 at the Colusa pool, 933 Parkhill Street. Session 1 is from Noon to 23 p.m. and Session 2 is from 3 to 5 p.m. Activities sponsored by Save-Mor Foods include Chalk-o’-Lantern Contest, Pumpkin Toss Contest, Three Headed Monster Mush Eating Contest, pumpkin decorating, face painting and more. Pumpkin Cat Paint Party with Susan Knight will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Stonyford Library, 5080 Lodoga Stonyford Road. This is a free event, and all supplies will be provided.

Antique Bottle Show
The Sacramento Valley Museum Antique Bottle Show will be held on Oct. 4 and 5 at 1491 E Street, Williams. Neighbors, friends, collectors are all invited to come and celebrate the history, community and joy of collecting. Friday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and it is a $20 admission. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and admission is free.

Arbuckle Pumpkin Festival
The Arbuckle Pumpkin Festival will be held on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at LaVanche Hursh Park, Arbuckle. Join the Arbuckle Revitalization Committee for a day filled with pumpkins and gourds, craft and food vendors and Fall fun! Wear your Halloween costumes and get ready to trick-or-treat at every booth and vendor!

Caregivers Support Group Meeting
The Caregivers Support Group for those caring for individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer/Parkinson’s Disease will meet from 10 am to 11:30 am on the Second Wednesday of every month at the First Presbyterian Church, 326 Jay St., Colusa. The meetings are confidential and are open to all who are interested.
Colusa VFW Monthly Meeting
The Colusa VFW Post #2441 meets the second Wednesday of each month. Dinner is served at 6 p.m., and a business meeting is held at 7 p.m. New members are welcome to join, just inquire or send an email to ColusaVFW@gmail.com. For hall rental please call 530-405-6322. Colusa VFW Post #2441 is a non-profit veterans organization serving the veterans and citizens of Colusa County.
