Thursday, March 12
Extreme Heat Presentation – 5 to 6 p.m., Colusa Scout Cabin, 901 Parkhill St., Colusa. The City of Colusa will host a free public presentation featuring Courtney Carpenter, warning coordination meteorologist with NOAA’s National Weather Service. The 30-minute program will cover how extreme heat impacts the region, the meaning of forecasts and warnings, and steps individuals and families can take to stay safe. A question-and-answer session will follow.
Princeton FFA Drive Thru Tri Tip Dinner – 5 to 7 p.m., 473 State St., Princeton. Family style meal serves four and includes one whole tri tip, rolls, rice, beans and cookies. Cost is $65.
