Chamber Business After Hours
The Colusa County Chamber of Commerce is inviting all their members to join Chamber Business After Hours at The Tap Room, 121 8th Street, Colusa, on the last Friday of the month, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Time to relax and enjoy while also having the opportunity to review member products and services, network, and raffle. Saturday, Jan. 31

Boot Drive Fundraiser
The City of Colusa Fire Department will hold a boot drive on Saturday, Jan. 31, at Fifth and Market streets in Colusa to raise funds in support of local paramedic Melissa Lopez. Firefighters will be on site collecting donations, and the public is encouraged to stop by and show support.

Maxwell Firefighters Crab Feed
The Maxwell Firefighters Association will host its 30th annual crab feed on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Legion Hall in Maxwell. The fundraiser includes dinner, a raffle, and an auction. Tickets are $75 per person, with proceeds supporting local fire services and community programs.

Tuesday, Feb. 3

Science and Engineering Fair
The second annual Colusa County Science and Engineering Fair will be held Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room at the Colusa County Office of Education, 499 Marguerite St. in Williams. The event features student projects from across the county, with a noncompetitive showcase for TK through fifth grade and either a noncompetitive showcase or judged competition for students in grades six through twelve. Registration and projects are due by Tuesday, Jan. 27. The fair is open to the public and offers a chance to view local student work in science and engineering.

Colusa Farm Show
The 2026 Colusa Farm Show will be held Feb. 3 through Feb. 5 at the Colusa County Fairgrounds. The annual event draws hundreds of attendees and features more than 300 exhibitors, providing opportunities for product demonstrations, presentations, and direct engagement with the agricultural community. UCCE 2026 Crop Review
UC Cooperative Extension will present the Colusa Farm Show 2026 Crop Review on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Stagehands Theatre at the Colusa County Fairgrounds. Check in and coffee begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by crop review presentations on almonds, rice, walnuts, and broomrape management in processing tomatoes. The program concludes at 11 a.m., with PCA and CCA continuing education hours requested.

Farm Show Seminars
The Colusa Farm Show will open its educational seminar series on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Stagehands Theatre at the Colusa County Fairgrounds. Sessions begin with check in at 8:30 a.m. and will cover almond, rice, and walnut crop considerations, as well as broomrape management in processing tomatoes, featuring University of California Cooperative Extension specialists.

Wednesday, Feb. 4

Rice Grower Discussion
The UC Cooperative Extension will host a grower discussion on the cost of rice regulations on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the CIP Conference Room, 100 Sunrise Blvd. in Colusa. CCOE Community Advisory Committee Meeting
The Colusa County Office of Education will host a Community Advisory Committee meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Large Conference Room at the Education Village, 499 Marguerite St. in Williams. The Make and Take Night will focus on visual supports for home communication success. Snacks and childcare will be provided.

Thursday, Feb. 5

Colusa Masonic Meeting
The Colusa Masonic Lodge meets on the first Thursday of each month, except June and July, at 311 Fifth St. in Colusa. Dinner is served at 6 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. Members and guests are welcome.

Saturday, Feb. 7

Community Technology Workshop
A community technology workshop will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Colusa Masonic Lodge, 311 Fifth St., at the corner of Fifth and J streets. Volunteers will assist with basic technology questions involving phones, email, laptops, social media, and online safety, including tips on avoiding scams.

 Sunday, Feb. 8

Veteran Super Bowl Potluck Party
Colusa VFW Post #2441 will host a Super Bowl potluck party for all Colusa County veterans and veteran families on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Doors open at 1 p.m., with kickoff at 3:30 p.m. Attendees are invited to bring their favorite Super Bowl dish to share; BYOB. Join fellow veterans and families for the game, food, games, and camaraderie.

Monday, Feb. 9

Friends of the Library Meeting

The Friends of the Colusa County Library will meet on Monday, Jan. 19, in the Morse Conference Room, 738 Market St., in Colusa.

Caregivers Support Group Meeting
The Caregivers Support Group for those caring for individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer/Parkinson’s Disease will meet from 10 am to 11:30 am on the Second Wednesday of every month at the First Presbyterian Church, 326 Jay St., Colusa. The meetings are confidential and are open to all who are interested.

Colusa VFW Monthly Meeting
The Colusa VFW Post #2441 meets the second Wednesday of each month. Dinner is served at 6 p.m., and a business meeting is held at 7 p.m. New members are welcome to join, just inquire or send an email to ColusaVFW@gmail.com. For hall rental please call (530) 701-9413. Colusa VFW Post #2441 is a non-profit veterans organization serving the veterans and citizens of Colusa County.
