Leroy “Lee” V. Traynham of Arbuckle passed away at age 86 on Thursday, August 21, 2025 peacefully at his home. He was born August 11, 1939 in Piedmont to Leroy and Aileen Traynham. Lee had been a lifelong farmer/rancher of Colusa County and graduated from UC Davis with his BS in Agronomy. In 1963 he married Margaret
“Cookie” Robinson.
He will be remembered for his support of 4-H/FFA youth, passion for farming and ranching, and the love for antique tractors, classic & fast cars & the Cayman Islands.
He is survived by his daughter, Buckley (Brad) Cox; son, Roy (Christine) Traynham; grandchildren, Ashley (Taylor) Bissell; Madison Cox; Seth Cox; John (Addie) Bailey; Judy Traynham; Megan Traynham; Wade Traynham; great grandchildren Reagan, Emerson & Heston Bailey. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret “Cookie” Traynham; parents
Leroy & Aileen Traynham; brother Stephen Traynham & sister Carolyn Brumley.
A Celebration of Life will be at The Maples (40162 Best Ranch Rd, Woodland, CA) on Wednesday, September 3rd at 2pm.
