Virginia Ruth LeMaster, 100, of Arbuckle, California, died on July 21, 2025.
Virginia (Ginny) was born in Otero County, Colorado, on January 1, 1925.
Ginny graduated from Western State College in Gunnison with a degree in Education. She taught elementary school in Lamar, Colorado, where she met her husband, Gregg.
They moved to Arbuckle where Ginny was a beloved teacher for 30 years. She was an accomplished pianist and singer and shared her gift with her students, and as a pianist for the Methodist Church. Ginny was passionate about golf and won many tournaments up and down California.
She loved traveling and enjoyed trips around the United States and Canada, including the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon. Ginny and her friends had the trip of a lifetime when they “invaded” the British Isles.
Ginny loved both people and animals and she will be missed.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Gregg, her brothers, Roy and Jesse Osborn, and her parents, Zona and Jesse Osborn, Sr. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Carol Yellott, Kay Romero, Connie Dollaghan, Diana Cinnamon, Mike and Mark Osborn, and many loving great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be announced.
