COLUSA COUNTY, CA (MPG) – With the 2026 softball season now in the books and the school year drawing to a close, All-League squads have been released, with nine local athletes representing their respective schools.
In the Sacramento Valley League, second place Colusa received four spots on the All-League squad including Bella Romero, Braelyn Santana, Peyton Miller and Marlie Berry.
A two-way player, Romero posted a 2.41 ERA with 31 strikeouts over 64 innings in the circle in addition to batting .471 and driving in 10 runs against conference opponents.
Santana, primarily an outfielder, also did dual duty for the RedHawks, where at the plate she hit .361 and scored a team-high 17 runs, while in 12.2 innings of work in the circle, finished league play without yielding an earned run and fanning 18.
Miller, for her part, had a team leading .488 average and 21 RBI against SVL foes, while Berry scored 12 runs, drew nine walks and hit at a .258 clip.
A second SVL team, Pierce, which finished seventh, saw Rylie Delepierre receive All-League honors after maintaining a conference batting average of .462, scoring 11 runs and knocking in 10, while additionally putting in 21.2 innings of work in the circle where she recorded 22 strikeouts.
Meanwhile, in the Mid-Valley Legue, Maxwell and Williams finished fifth and sixth respectively, receiving one spot apiece on the All-League team.
For the Panthers, Emma Miller did it all in her first varsity season hitting .524 and driving in 10 runs against conference opponents, while also putting in 27 innings of work in the circle where she struck out 35.
Jaylene Ortega was the Yellowjackets’ All-MVL selection. Although statistics from just three games were provided, Ortega hit .571 over that span.
Rounding out the accolades, in the Evergreen League, Princeton seniors Sissy Winn and Reyna Sullivan were named to the All-EL squad, although no statistics from the season were available.
