COLUSA COUNTY, CA (MPG) – With the completion of the basketball season, the Sacramento Valley League has released both its boys and girls All-League squads which include three Colusa RedHawks and two Pierce Bears.
Having finished third in conference play, the Colusa boys had senior Kaleb Castanon and freshman Cooper Ayala garner All-SVL recognition, while Colin Dye was fourth place Pierce’s selection.
Statistics from the regular season were incomplete for both boys’ teams and therefore not available.
Among the SVL girls, fourth place Pierce was represented by sophomore Rylie Delepierre, who averaged 14.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 steals per game, while Colusa junior Peyton Miller earned honors for her efforts which included 16.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game against conference opponents.
