Down three points at halftime to visiting Paradise last Friday night, the Colusa RedHawks held the Bobcats to just seven points over the final two quarters to come away with the 52-33 victory.
As a result, the RedHawks claimed third place in the Sacramento Valley League Tournament.
Ethan Lay led Colusa with 14 points, including going 4 for 9 from beyond the arc, while Luke Kalfsbeek recorded a double-double, finishing with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
It was a nice win for the RedHawks, who had fallen 68-42 in Durham earlier last week, as they struggled to put the ball in the basket against a hot shooting Trojan squad.
Seth Kalisuch ended the night with a team-high 12 points, with Lay and Isaiah Travis each dropping in eight points.
Colusa (16-10), received the fifth seed in the Northern Section CIF Division IV playoffs and hosted No. 12 Winters (13-12), a team they have beaten twice already this season, on Feb. 16, in a first round match up.
Should the RedHawks have prevailed, they would make the long trek to Yreka on Feb. 18 to face the No. 4 seeded Miners (14-12). ■
