Colusas Major Girls All-Star team fell 5-4 to Plumas Lake in an elimination game on June 21 at the District 2 Tournament.
The loss brings the teams season to an end.
Although Plumas Lake held a 4-0 advantage after two innings, Colusa put one run on the board in the third, then rallied for three more in the fifth, but unfortunately could get no closer.
Maci Garofalo finished 2 for 2 while Peyton Miller and Leyla Avera collected the only other hits for Colusa.
Colusa suffered its first loss to Sutter Buttes earlier in the tournament then beat Sutter Area and Wheatland before succumbing to Plumas Lake. –
