A celebration of life will be held for Janice ” Renee” Kalfsbeek Dolbow, at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Arbuckle Golf Course, 5918 Hillgate Rd in Arbuckle.
Renee, 68, lost her battle with Cancer on October 10th, 2016. She was cared for in her home from time of diagnosis to her transition by her husband Bill Dolbow, daughter Kim Vann and grandson Asa Vann.
Born, May 19, 1948 to Mildred Descombaz Kalfsbeek (Boyd) and Elmer ” shock” Kalfsbeek, Renee was always known for being the Ultimate decorator. She made everyday life and all of lifes events decorated to perfection. Renee attended California State University of Chico and was a Graduate of California State University of Sacramento, in interior design.
Throughout her life Renee had many pursuits; from furniture refurnishing, interior design, Esthetician care, master gardening, photography and her most favorite pastime of all her beloved grandson Asa.
Renee was fortunate enough to have many experiences in life from seeing Elvis with Jerry Boyd, to cruises with the NAPA family. She was even fortunate enough to see an Apollo Launch.
Some of Renees favorite moments were with her family in Mexico, best friends in Fort Bragg, walks with her dog Sadie and Everything that had to do with her Grandson Asa.
Renee loved her time on the Arbuckle Revitalization Committee and supporting her daughter on the campaign trail.
Renee was survived by her husband Ralph ” Bill” Dolbow of Williams, her Daughter Kimberly Dolbow Vann of Arbuckle and Grandson Asa William Dolbow Vann of Arbuckle.
The Family is asking in lieu of Flowers a donation be made to either the Arbuckle Revitalization Committee or the Arbuckle Volunteers Fire Department.
