Anthony ” Tony” Franklin Murray passed away at his home in Stonyford on Friday, August 12, 2016, at the age of 49. Tony was born in Yreka and moved to Williams in 1978 where he graduated from Williams High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sonoma State University. Tony enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and spending quality time with his family and friends. Tonys unexpected passing reminds us of how precious life is, and although we will miss him and his winning smile every day, he will remain forever in our hearts. Tony is survived by his parents, Lynn & Patricia Murray of Missouri, his sister Becky Murray of Maryland and his brother Ricky Murray of Arizona. Tony is also survived by his nieces Alison, Lynnette, Grace and Ashley, his nephew Brett, and his great-nephews and nieces.
Services for Tony will be held Friday, September 2, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Mary of the Mountain church in Stonyford. A celebration of Tonys life will immediately follow at the Stonyford Town Hall.
