Book celebration, documentary screening to be held

Friends of the Colusa County Library, in partnership with City of Colusa’s Heritage Preservation Commission, invite the public to the Colusa County Library, 738 Market St., in Colusa, on Thursday, Nov. 10, for refreshments and a celebration of the reprinting of “If the Walls Could Talk, Colusa’s Architectural Heritage” by Jane Foster Carter. Browse the display and enjoy refreshments beginning at 6 PM.

At 7 PM, the Friends will host a public screening of “Graphic Means,” – a fascinating documentary about the evolution of printing and graphic design from Gutenberg to modern-day digital technology.

Copies of “If the Walls Could Talk” will be available for purchase that evening for $100 (cash or checks only.) Checks may be made payable to the City of Colusa, with HPC “Walls” in the memo line. Books are also available for purchase at Davison Drug and Stationery and at City Hall.
