Autumn may be right around the corner, but that doesnt mean its the end of the Colusa Farmers Market season. The market remains open every Thursday through October 2 offering a cornucopia of colorful and nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables, as well as gifts, baked goods, and much more.
” I love this market,” Melissa Baikie-Rick, the Market Coordinator, ” It has a great spirit and people are still coming out!
Baikie-Rick recently took reigns of the market.
” I had a lot of support from Lynda Reynolds,” said Bakie-Rick, ” She was a great mentor.
As the market wraps up on October 2, Baikie-Rick hopes to return next year with fresh ideas.
” I hope to have live music at every market, a cooling station, and expanding SNAP benefits,” said Baikie-Rick.
The Colusa Farmers Market is held every Thursday evening from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Memorial Park in Downtown Colusa.
