COLUSA, CA (MPG) – Children lined up for activities and families filled the grounds April 25 as the Colusa County Family Fair returned with a full day of programs, performances and community outreach.

Hosted by the Colusa County Office of Education, the event marked the Month of the Young Child, a nationwide effort to highlight the importance of early learning and family support. The fair featured a range of indoor and outdoor activities designed to engage children while connecting families with local services.

Children explored sensory stations and interactive booths offering information, activities and treats. Face painting and other hands-on attractions drew steady lines throughout the day. A petting zoo gave young children the chance to interact directly with animals.
