Lifelong Readers Announce 2027 Schedule

COLUSA, CA (MPG) – The Lifelong Readers Book Club has announced its 2027 reading schedule, with eight books planned for discussion from January through November.

The club meets from 6 to 7 p.m. at Colusa Taproom, 121 Eighth St. Meetings generally take place on the second Monday of each month and are open to the public.

The schedule begins Jan. 11 with “The Correspondent” by Virginia Evans, followed by “Kin” by Tayari Jones on Feb. 8 and “The Calamity Club” by Heather Stockett on March 8.

Other selections include “The Black Count” by Thomas Reiss on April 12 and “The Things We Never Say” by Elizabeth Strout on May 10.

The club will take a summer break before returning Sept. 13 with “The Lion Women of Tehran” by Marjan Kamali. “Raja the Gullible” by Rabih Alameddine is scheduled for Oct. 11, followed by “The Demon of Unrest” by Erik Larson on Nov. 8.
