Roccos Bar and Grill, 546 Market St. got a flock of new visitors on Monday. The Del La Torre family sent the geese and ducks to the popular eatery and bar for a very good cause. ” Youve Been Flocked” is a fundraiser for Founders Day, which will be held on June 19, in Downtown Colusa from 2-4 PM in Memorial Park, Downtown Colusa, and Main Street. Roccos will be open for lunch to dine in or eat out (Main Street), on Founders Day. Also on June 19, Roccos will host the ” Roccos Parking Lot Hawaiian Luau Party,” featuring the FBR Band (no admission). Come spend the day in Colusa and enjoy all the free festivities, including a Tractor Show, Vendor Fair, Historic Downtown Tour, and more. The Colusa County Community Development Department was flocked on Tuesday for a very good cause. Colusa County Chief Administrative Officer Wendy Tyler sent a flock of ducks to Community Development Director Greg Plucker, left, and planning staff Tana Loudon, Julia Ornbaun, and Kent Johanns to help support the County Seats first Founders Day, on June 19. The event includes a historical tour of Colusas downtown, DFT Cornhole, antique tractor show, and much more. Founders day is a free event and open to all Colusa County residents.
