Colusa County Fair Senior Luncheon — Noon, Festival Hall, Colusa County Fairgrounds, 1303 10th St., Colusa. Seniors age 65 and older are invited to gather for lunch and fellowship during the annual Senior Luncheon at the Colusa County Fair. Organizers said the luncheon will be held indoors with air conditioning and wheelchair accessibility available. Admission to the fair is free for seniors age 65 and older on Friday. Fair gates open at 5 p.m.

Colusa County Fair Parade – 6 p.m., downtown Colusa. The Colusa Lions Club will sponsor the annual Colusa County Fair Parade, featuring this year’s fair theme, “Neon Dreams & Carnival Screams.” Parade check-in begins at 5 p.m. Community organizations, businesses, schools and individuals are invited to participate. WCCA FreeCycle Event – 8:30 a.m. to noon, Williams Community Center Association, 860 C St., Williams. Community members are invited to bring unwanted items and take home new treasures during the Williams Community Center Association’s FreeCycle event. All items are free. Those wishing to reserve a free table may contact Toni at 707-235-5108. Table setup begins at 8 a.m. Participants do not need to remain during the event but must return by noon to collect any unsold or unclaimed items.
4th Annual Weenie Races — 6 p.m., grandstands at the Colusa County Fairgrounds. Dachshunds, corgis and other small breed dogs will compete in a series of races during the annual Weenie Races event. Categories include non-dachshund small breeds, corgis and dachshunds. Organizers said prizes will be awarded to first- through third-place finishers. Admission is $15 and includes entry to both the Weenie Races and Combine Derby. Registration information is available at colusafairgrounds.com.
Kids Power Wheels Derby — 5:30 p.m., grandstands at the Colusa County Fairgrounds. Children ages 3 to 9 will compete in timed derby heats using battery-powered ride-on vehicles. Organizers said contestants will attempt to pop opponents’ balloons, with the winner determined by the most unpopped balloons remaining. Participants must provide their own helmets and power wheels vehicles. Entry fee is $25. Prizes will be awarded to first through third place and best-looking car.
Colusa County Fair Combine Derby — Gates open at 5 p.m., derby begins at 7 p.m., grandstands at the Colusa County Fairgrounds. Drivers will compete in the annual combine derby featuring modified farm equipment in head-to-head competition. Admission is $15 with food concessions and general admission seating available. VIP bleacher seating is also available through the fair office. Tickets are available online and through the fair office.
Pierce 80s Class Reunion Party – 7 p.m., Tex’s Tavern, Arbuckle. Open to Pierce graduating classes of 1980 through 1989. Event will feature food trucks and live music. Attendees are encouraged to reconnect and celebrate with classmates from across the decade.

Arbuckle Public Utility District public hearing at 6 p.m. in the Pierce High School Multi-Purpose Room, 960 Wildwood Road, Arbuckle, to consider proposed wastewater rate increases. District officials say the increase is needed after more than $3.5 million in emergency wastewater system repairs depleted reserves. The free summer concert series opens with Boot Juice, a Northern California Americana and rock band known for its high-energy performances, three-part harmonies and horn-driven sound. Dinner will be available from Colusa Rotary and the Friends of the Library. The concert is sponsored by Colusa Industrial Properties. Free admission.

Community Collage Workshop – 10 a.m. to noon, Colusa County Arts Council, Colusa. Participants of all ages are invited to create original paper collage artwork using magazines, recycled books and mixed-media materials while exploring themes of friendship, healthy choices and community connection. No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. The workshop is part of the Creative Futures Art Lab program and includes a collaborative community art project. Free and open to all ages.
