Jack F. Biggs, 70, of Colusa, CA, passed away peacefully at home after a short battle with cancer on Nov. 16, 2016. He was born on June 10, 1946, in Colusa to J.R. & Ann Biggs. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Jeanne, daughter Kandie Baser, son James Christenson, two grand-daughters Alyssa Baser & Kelly Christenson-Free, a sister-in-law Sandy Huberty, an uncle & aunt Farrell & Mary Reische, many cousins, and a lifetime of great friends.
Jack ” Piggy” graduated from Colusa High School & received an AA degree from Yuba College. He worked for PG&E, owned the Sportsmans Club, and worked in the rice industry for RGA, Comet Rice, and retired from River Bend of Colusa.
He will be remembered by all who knew him for speaking his mind & having a golden heart. The love for his wife, children, grand-children, friends, and his dogs Oreo & Lacy. He loved to cook for his family and friends and was well known for his chili beans across borders.
Over the years, he was passionate about playing soft ball, bowling, spending time in Fort Bragg camping-diving for abalone, fishing, hunting (anywhere), but especially in Oregon. He enjoyed participating in football pools and most definitely a good card game. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts!
The family wishes to invite friends to a celebration of Jacks life in the Lodge Lounge at Colusa Casino Resort Sunday December 4, 2016 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM.
