COLUSA, CA (MPG) – The Colusa County Air Pollution Control District announced that applications are now being accepted for the Carl Moyer State Reserve Grant Program.
The program provides financial assistance to businesses and agricultural operations seeking to replace older equipment with zero-emission technology.
According to the district, the grant program aims to help operators reduce operating costs while improving air quality throughout Colusa County.
Eligible projects include replacing gas-powered all-terrain vehicles and utility terrain vehicles with electric UTVs, upgrading stationary diesel engines to electric engines and replacing propane or LNG forklifts with electric forklifts. Limited electric support infrastructure also may qualify for funding.
The district encouraged interested businesses and community members to apply as soon as possible.
