Maxwell 3 – Las Plumas 0 (4/9)
Maxwell 2 – Los Molinos 4 (4/10)
Maxwell 3 – Durham 14
One of just a handful of teams in action last week, the Panther boys finished 1-2 at the Durham Tournament.
Things started well for Maxwell, as it shutout Las Plumas behind a complete game effort from Yahir Alcaraz on the mound.
Alcaraz allowed just a single hit while striking out eight Thunderbird batters.
Leading the way at the plate was Luke Pearson who went 2 for 2 with an RBI and Lucas Bowen who finished 2 for 4 and also drove in a run.

No information from the two losses was made available.
This week was a busy one for the Panthers (11-6, 2-0) as they traveled to Williams for a Mid-Valley League contest on Monday, were in Trowbridge for a non-conference matchup with East Nicolaus the following day, then returned home to complete the season series with the Yellowjackets on Friday.

Pierce 0 – Winters 17 (4/7)
Nothing much went right for the Bears in a Sacramento Valley League contest last week as they were no-hit by the visiting Warriors although the second game of the series which was to be played on April 10 was rained out.
In this week’s games, Pierce (1-11, 0-4) hosted Biggs on April 14 in a non-league affair, before making the trip to Winters on April 16.
