PRINCETON, CA (MPG) – Playing at home twice last week to close out Pioneer League play, the Eagles defeated Herlong in a relatively easy match on Oct. 21, but fell short the following evening to Paradise Adventist Academy.

In the 25-21, 25-18, 25-15 win over Herlong, Reyna Sullivan finished the night with 15 points coming from her team high 10 kills and five aces to lead Princeton.
Gabby Trujillo pitched in with five kills and five aces, while Guadalupe Espinoza handed out 18 assists.

Yet the following evening, the Eagles, despite a spirited effort on Senior Night, came up short to PAA by scores of 22-25, 25-14, 19-25, 10-25.
Playing in the final regular season match of their high school careers, Sullivan finished with 11 kills, Espinoza dished out 19 assists and Starlin Smith made 10 digs.

Freshman libero Alison Rendon also ended the night with 10 digs.
Princeton (7-19, 7-5), the fourth place team in the PL, received the No. 5 seed in the Northern Section Division VII playoff bracket and made its way to Dunsmuir on Tuesday to play the No. 4 seeded Tigers (7-11, 7-5).
