Freecycle event is back

Back by popular demand, the Williams Community Center will host its Freecycle event.
Are you starting spring-cleaning early? If you need to rid yourself of some clutter or clothing, don’t trash your stuff, “freecycle” it instead. Freecycling is a way to exchange used items at no cost. Donate your stuff and someone else can have it for free.

The Williams Community Center, 860 C St., in Williams, will host a freecycle event Saturday, Jan. 28, from 9 AM to Noon.

Community members are invited to bring used clothes (clean and in good condition), books, home items, school supplies, and unopened nonperishable foods for others, who can get the items at no cost.

There is no cost to set up a table; however spaces are limited. Participants must set up at 8 AM.

Once the event is over, you will be required to take any of your unclaimed items with you. The Williams Community Center will not be responsible for disposal or removal of items.
To participate, you must register in advance, call (530) 501-3029. ■
